12 Days of Bush Christmas

Om boken

12 Days of Bush Christmas is a children's picture book that adapts the lyrics of yuletide classic 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' with a festive Koorie spin.

On the first day of Christmas, there's a kookburra laughing in a gum tree. On the second, a coolamon. What will 12 days of Christmas bring?

Written and illustrated by the design duo behind Kinya Lerrk, Emma Bamblett (Wemba Wemba, Gunditjmara, Ngadjonji and Taungurung) and Megan Van Den Berg (Dja Dja Wurrung, Yorta Yorta and Boon Wurrung), this book is filled with delightful illustrations and First Nations educational content at the end, a beloved gift for children and adults alike.
