Charmingly Norwegian, these knits from renowned knitting duo KlompeLOMPE include 65 gorgeous clothing patterns plus four toys and stuffed animals. The KlompeLOMPE journey began in a small town in Norway with two small babies on their way into the world, and two pregnant friends with the same due date. As Hanne and Torunn shared walks and dreams, they found that the babies caused their love of knitting to grow. Designing charming, timeless-quality wearables for those babies led to a knitting design business called KlompeLOMPE. With Hanne and Torunn's brand happily established and with over half a million copies sold of their books in Norway alone, in these pages they're returning to their starting point: the absolute joy of knitting for babies. These 65 standout designs radiate the Nordic-inspired natural charm that knitters love from KlompeLOMPE. Meticulously designed, perfect-fit onesies, baby jackets, caps, socks, rompers, wool soakers, headbands, and more are grouped into layettes—traditionally, baby’s very first set of clothing. Each set includes 7 to 10 garments so that you can choose what you like best, and personalize a “coming home” set for your little loved one. Today’s parents, grandparents, friends, and families who seek high-quality designs for personalized gifts will find happiness here. Features: 65 timelessly adorable heirloom-quality designs, from socks to rompers to hats, meant to pass down to future generations of the family. Every project features all-natural yarns. Clear difficulty-level labels range from beginner to advanced. Sizes run from preemie to 18 months, with some items also including sizes to age 4. The designs are organized into layette sets, providing perfect gift ideas—as is, or swap in your preferred items from throughout the book. More snippets of joy: includes designs for a rattle, a ball, a bear blankie, and a mini rabbit and cat.
