From Star Athlete to Jungle Missionary: The Amazing Adventure of C.T. Studd

What would make someone give up being one of the worlds best cricket players and a massive fortune to live in dangerous jungles and face off with cannibals? Meet C.T. Studd, whose incredible true story reads like an adventure novel but it all really happened!

Follow C.T.s journey from his life as a famous athlete at one of Englands fanciest schools to his decision to give away millions (in todays money) and travel to places where no missionary had gone before. Whether he was learning Chinese to share Jesus message in China, riding through India on horseback, or trekking through the Congo rainforest on a bicycle while dodging unfriendly tribes, C.T. never backed down from a challenge.

Along the way, youll discover how C.T. and his brave wife Priscilla faced deadly diseases, angry chiefs, and all kinds of wild adventures. Youll read about their daughters growing up in the jungle, local people becoming Christians and changing their whole way of life, and how C.T. kept going even when everyone told him to quit.

This actionpacked biography shows what can happen when someone decides to put their whole life into serving Jesus, no matter what it costs them. If you like stories about reallife heroes, daring adventures, and people who changed the world, you wont be able to put this book down!
