Caitlin’s Not Sorry

Om boken

Is Caitlin’s meltdown a mid-life crisis? Is she mentally ill? Or did she just make a terrible mistake when she married Charles?

As the countdown begins to her 20th wedding anniversary, there is only one question to answer: will she make it to the party with her marriage and family intact?

It doesn’t help that her best friend Lou is no longer the support she once was. And as for her sister, Samantha - she’s always been tricky, but her recent redundancy seems to have tipped her over the edge. The appalling behaviour of Caitlin’s two teenage children is the final straw. Is it any surprise that Tony, an exciting encounter from her past, seems such a thrilling prospect for the future?

Caitlin’s Not Sorry is a compelling story grounded in real family life. It explores the lives of three middle-aged women as they face the challenges of infidelity, sibling rivalry and loss of identity. Any woman who has hit middle age and wondered ‘is this it?’ will find a lot to identify with in this humorous yet poignant novel.
