Deep Friendship

Om boken

Deep Friendship is a book about spirituality in deep friendship. It invites the reader to think about what it takes to be in and to develop an abiding, loving and conscious relationship. In its pages we are reminded that to have the deep love of a friend is to have the shelter in which to embody more and more of the essence that we each are. In holding each other with trust and compassion our shells fall away and we emerge into the world as freer beings. Participating in a true friendship is profound and holy work. Deep Friendship is a companion for the journey.

"True lovers, Rilke observes in his Letters to a Young Poet, are 'two silences that border, protect, and salute one another.' To my mind, that quote quintessentially captures the spirit of Gunilla's book, and her wise and compassionate reflections beautifully convey the music of this dance."
