It provides an exhaustive exploration of Gordillo s life, practice, and work, situating her art within the tapestry of culture and architecture that gave it life.

Illustrated by a wealth of over 300 photographs, including previously unpublished photographs from personal collections, Gordillo s artistic evolution and processes are traced from Copenhagen to Paris and Stockholm to Cairo, with spotlights on individual pieces, architectural installations, and exhibitions.
