Honestly, Man

Om boken

If you’ve been feeling confused about what it means to be a man today, you’re not alone.

The media narrative about men can seem overwhelmingly negative and many of the stereotypes may not fit with your lived experience. But the fact that they’re out there can stop you from saying how you’re really feeling.

This is a book to help men (and the people who care about them) understand the complex issues which face the modern man and move towards a better future.

By reading these pages, you will be able to:

Cut through the confusion of modern masculinity and learn to respond with confidence rather than shame.
Communicate more openly, build psychological safety and show up more effectively for those around you.
Find a renewed sense of purpose and choose a version of masculinity that feels grounded, positive and genuinely yours.

Andrew Pain has brought together his lived experience, the rich insights from the men who have graced his podcast, Men on Show, and global research in an evidence-based, easy-to-read guide that meets you where you are without judgement.

If you're ready to move beyond blame and shame, if you're looking for substance instead of stereotypes and if you want to know what practical things all of us can do to create a better tomorrow, this is where the conversation starts.

By choosing this book, you’ll also be helping support charities that work with men and boys, extending its impact beyond the page and into real lives.
