Imperfectly Innocent

Om boken

Harry knew that suspicion was insidious. Once it was awoken from its slumbers and raised its head, it never slept again.

Harry Nevile is an intelligence officer; he is not a spy and doesn't act covertly. But now, he may have no choice. The future of his unit is uncertain, one of his people is dead, another arrested and his boss, who has disappeared, is accused of treason. There is evidence, but facts are one thing, interpretation is another. Especially as new information keeps coming to light almost every day... revelations that flip his perspective and understanding.

Harry needs the trust of his team, but he can't tell them everything he knows, nor can he share what he can say with everyone.

The keys to unlocking the mystery lie with an old case, a dishonest witness, an old adversary and a former STASI agent who has defected to London. Who is telling the truth about what happened in Berlin thirty years ago? And what does constitute just retribution?
