In Search Of… Jelani Rice

Om boken

In Search Of ... Jelani Rice is the first photography book by renowned US photographer Jelani Rice, who specialises in portraiture, fashion, lifestyle, and documentary photography. The present collection includes a selection of private and professional portraits, all taken in the last five years. In his work, Rice explores the possibilities film photography has to offer, using a medium format camera for the most part. What sets his portraits apart is the intensely vibrant colours, which are characteristic of his unique artistic style.

A mixture of published and previously unseen works provide an intimate insight into the development of this artist, whose work has appeared in Rolling Stone, The Washington Post, The New Yorker, People Magazine, and New York Magazine.
