Lootie's World Run

Om boken

Imagine running a marathon every day for two and a half years. Solo. Self-supported. Through a global pandemic.

Across four continents and 680 marathons, Marie Leautey faced scorching deserts, icy mountains, and the loneliness of the open road. She braved blistering heat in Australia, navigated the Andes in South America, and traversed the vastness of North America. Each sunrise brought a new landscape, a new challenge, and a renewed test of her unwavering determination.

Marie paints a unique and rich sensorial experience of the world. She recounts the extraordinary encounters and kindness from strangers, the unexpected connections she forged and her profound appreciation for the beauty and diversity of our planet.

Lootie’s World Run is more than just a story of physical endurance. It’s a breathtaking journey of self-discovery, an ode to the human spirit, and a testament to the power of perseverance. It’s a story about facing your fears, embracing the unknown, and finding the extraordinary within yourself.
