Maud – Heirs to a broken age

Om boken

Maud: Heirs to a Broken Age is an epic dark fantasy of gods, ruin, and redemption, set in a world where the sun has vanished and the dead do not rest.

Long ago, divine beings vanished into myth. Now, they awaken—stripped of memory, scattered across a frostbitten land ruled by silence and shadow. Undead giants roam broken villages, ancient fortresses lie buried beneath snow, and hope flickers like a dying flame. Among mortals, survival is a ritual. Among gods, it is penance.

As forgotten powers stir, a handful of divine heirs gather, drawn by whispers of a lost brother and the creeping corruption infecting the land. Each step they take unearths old sins and awakens deeper mysteries: Why do the dead return every night? Who sealed the sky? And what is the price of reclaiming divinity?

Lyrical, dramatic, and emotionally powerful, Maud explores the blurred line between godhood and humanity, memory and myth. With richly layered characters and a world soaked in sorrow and wonder, this is a tale of fallen gods seeking to heal the land—one village, one soul at a time.

For readers who crave heart with their high fantasy, Maud offers a world you will not want to leave.
