Classic meets modern in this dazzling illustrated storybook about friendship and home. By the artist whose debut picture book, The Tiger Who Would Be King, was named a New York Times/New York Public Library Best Illustrated Children's Book.
On the day the 200,501st ant is born in a crowded anthill, seven adventurous ants decide it’s time to find a new home—one with more space and more light, less work and more play. Together they set off through the woods in search of the perfect spot. One by one, they each find a place that seems just right—but is it?
