Sohaila

Om boken

This is a cookbook with purpose, bringing together vibrant Middle Eastern–inspired food from Sohaila and Fat Macy’s, a London social enterprise using hospitality to tackle homelessness. Packed with delicious, achievable recipes and stunning photography, it captures the flavours served in our Shoreditch restaurant and across our busy catering business.

Alongside the food runs an uplifting true story that began in a hostel kitchen and grew into a thriving restaurant, training academy and community. Through cooking, mentoring and shared meals, people gain skills, confidence and the chance to move into secure homes of their own. At its heart, this book is about connection — and how food can create a lasting sense of home.
