Christians throughout the world have learned how to share their faith using Michael Frost’s BELLS method in their everyday lives. Surprising, ordinary, and effective, the routines of a lifestyle of evangelism are:

We BLESS people, both inside and outside the church
We EAT together, sharing meals with believers and nonbelievers alike
We LISTEN to the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit as we engage with those around us
We intimately LEARN Christ as our leader and model for making disciples
We see ourselves as missionaries SENT by God to everywhere life takes us

In this tenth anniversary edition of Surprise the World, you will find practical guidance on how to cultivate these spiritual habits into your life and a hands-on approach to discipleship. Ideal for personal use, small groups, and churchwide, the simple lessons in this book will surprise you—and the people around you—with the good news of the Gospel as you become a confident evangelist.

“A timely wake-up call for believers. A concise and helpful encouragement to those seeking to live on-mission in their communities.” —Ed Stetzer, author and pastor
