Sunday Times bestselling poet Donna Ashworth opens up as never before, blending poetry and prose with affirmations, visualizations and her own beautiful illustrations. ‘Donna Ashworth’s words are sunshine for the soul. And this new collection is full of her best work.’ – MATT HAIGThe trick, I think, is to become easily pleased. To be astounded, every day, by the things that so beautifully surround us. To really see this miracle of life we are living. To find magic in the minutiae. Knowing that we will never cease to be wowed by this universe and its miraculous glimmers of hope, love and connection. The Art of Being Easily Pleased is my most exciting project to date because it contains all of the whys and the hows. I created this book for all the ‘overs’ out there and for anyone who never felt enough and yet somehow too much…If you are an over-thinker, an over-feeler, an over-lover, an over-healer – you will know that this way of being does not flow. It takes work. This is me showing my work. Starting today, we find beauty in the ordinary. We remember who we are and we connect to one another and the energy that surrounds us all. ‘Be pleased, my friends, be pleased. There is much to be pleased about.’Donna x‘This book will crack open your heart to let in more love.’ – DAVINA McCALL‘Donna is a human disco ball and this book will radiate shards of illuminating light onto our most troublesome shadows.’ – DAWN FRENCH
