Not Just a Power, But a Person: The Holy Spirit in Christian Life

In this engaging exploration of the Third Person of the Trinity, Keri Folmar invites women to discover the Holy Spirits active presence in their daily lives. Moving beyond common misconceptions and dramatic manifestations, she reveals how the Spirit works powerfully through ordinary means Scripture, prayer, and the local church.

Drawing from both Scripture and reallife examples, Folmar shows how the Holy Spirit isnt a power to be harnessed, but a divine Person who breathes life into creation, illuminates Gods word, and knits believers together in community. Her careful treatment extends from the Spirits cosmic work in creation to His intimate role in personal sanctification.

Written with clarity and theological depth, this book helps readers understand:

How the Spirit inspired Scripture and illuminates it today
Why every Christian has the Spirit and His gifts
How the Spirit applies Christs redemption to believers
What it means to bear spiritual fruit in community

Perfect for individual study or group discussion, this addition to The Good Portion series will help women delight in their relationship with the Holy Spirit and appreciate His vital role in their spiritual growth and the life of the church.
