The Mahjong Bar

Om boken

A playful fusion of delicious drinks and the magic of mahjong, with original cocktails matched to the game's distinctive tiles, suits, honors, and hands.

The Mahjong Bar is where the clink of ice meets the clack of tiles. This vibrantly photographed, inventive cocktail book takes you on a journey through the world of mahjong, featuring over 50 drinks (including nonalcoholic options and batch recipes) inspired by the tiles and traditions of the game. Imagine sipping a citrusy Orgeat Orchid as you draw your first tile or mixing a spicy Hot Tile Hot Toddy during a heated hand.

Organized into four sections (Cracking Good Cocktails, Match-Perfect Mocktails, Casual Combinations, and Four at the Table: Drinks to Share ) and featuring detailed recipes, garnishing tips, and game-night hosting suggestions, this book is more than a drink guide—it’s an experience. Learn how to craft a variety of delicious cocktails and mocktails for your mahjong nights, including:

Eyes-Opening Coffee Martini
Bamboo Frappé
First Dealer Fizz
Lucky Draw Lemonade Float
Dead Hand Catechu Cocktail
Ready Hand Mimosa
Bonus set Bellini
Cranberry Crak
And more!

Whether you’re a seasoned player or simply love a good themed cocktail, The Mahjong Bar makes every round a toast to tradition and good company.
