The Root of Trauma

Om boken

Heal from the inside out with a new understanding of Western mental health diagnoses, trauma, and addiction that connects them to the first three chakras.

What do the root, sacral, and solar plexus chakras have to do with healing from trauma? Everything. This book explores a new way to address the damage trauma does to the mind and spirit by resolving the ways it impacts the body.

Childhood trauma creates imbalances in the three lower chakras, blocking the higher chakras and stunting an individual's development. Melissa Grabau explains how each chakra is matched with a Western psychology diagnosis and then offers client stories that help you understand how to heal it. As the lower chakras heal, energy naturally moves upward into the higher chakras, allowing you to blossom and find new possibilities in your life.
