The Woman and the Light

Om boken

The AI pandemic is raging. Monsters stalk the country lanes. Reluctant survivalist, artist, and mother Lou Sinclair has been abandoned. Her partner Edward, summoned to London, has left her to fend for herself.

As the pandemic spreads, the world’s cities fall dark. Lou, her son James, and daughter Eve struggle on, gathering a small band of survivors.

In a fragile, false peace, the fractious group hunker down and prepare for siege.

The darkness closes in. Friends turn traitor; fear prowls the night. They are attacked from without and torn from within, but defeat may yet be avoided.

A story emerges: a sliver of hope. A whispered secret. A chance.

Lou and Eve must unravel the mystery, racing against time, and perhaps beyond it, as the AI prepares its final assault.
