Wimbledonia

Om boken

Wimbledon has a long tradition of producing beautiful memorabilia that fans cherish dearly along with the memories such treasures represent. Nearly everyone who has attended the Championships has a programme, ticket, book, postcard or poster to commemorate the experience. Richard Jones tells the fascinating story of these and many other prized artefacts – pieces that he calls ‘Wimbledonia’.

This is the ultimate book of Wimbledon tennis collectables, featuring more than 700 stunning illustrations and over a hundred first-hand reminiscences from people who attended the tournament – from the 1920s to the present day.
