AI adoption is speeding up across industries, yet most organizations still face confusion and stalled progress. While interest is high and many pilots are underway, nearly 90% of AI projects never reach production or deliver the expected value. The issue isn’t technology—it’s the lack of a clear, scalable operating model. This book provides that missing structure, showing how to move from scattered experiments to a sustainable enterprise AI practice. This book stands at the intersection of strategy and architecture, designed for leaders, architects, and decision-makers responsible for scaling AI responsibly.
The book begins by uncovering why AI efforts fail: hype-driven expectations, talent gaps, weak data foundations, poor governance, and ad-hoc delivery models. It then reframes AI as a long-term capability—helping readers understand where AI truly adds value and where it does not. The core of the book is the Sustainable AI Framework, a practical approach for building lasting AI maturity. Readers will learn how to prioritize the right use cases, build platform-based delivery models, create paved paths for teams, and embed trust, accountability, and governance from day one. The book blends strategic mapping, platform engineering, organizational design, and architectural patterns, offering concrete tools and maturity models. Ultimately, it offers guidance for executing at scale, including securing early wins, avoiding innovation theatre, managing platform evolution, and establishing continuous learning loops.
This book is a roadmap for moving beyond hype and pilots toward durable, responsible AI capability and long-term business advantage—without chaos.
