LOST iN Paris

Om boken

Paris. Historic bridges, stately boulevards, legacy fashion brands, iconic bistros. Its legacy is undeniable. Yet when a city relies too heavily on its past, that heritage can become a millstone. For decades, Paris risked being seen as little more than a museum. That time is over.

LOST iN Paris captures a new City of Lights that shines with fresh takes on fashion, food, architecture, design and underground art. The cultural renaissance is everywhere. Indie designers are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with major fashion houses. Young artists are challenging the canvas inside in a former squatters' house. Starched white tablecloths are being whipped aside by culinary agitators who reject the old ways. A culture of secret speakeasies turning mixology into a treasure hunt.

Along the way, local voices will show how Paris turned its magnificent past into a springboard for the future. You’ll meet an electronic music legend, a culture-bending chef, a master mixologist and world-famous street artists with hidden identities.

Chase the expected, and you find a caricature. Ditch your expectations, and you can experience the museum pieces of tomorrow being forged today. Tap into the underground energy, and get lost in the new wave of Parisian cool.

Paris beyond the postcard: Feel the restless energy of secret bars, street galleries and urban spaceships.
