LOST iN Stockholm

Om boken

Stockholm. Sweden has Europe’s only capital city with an official “Board of Beauty.” Elegance is a quality native to the North. But it’s not just to be found in the city’s layout, textured with parks, islands, and waterways. Almost 100 museums and two restaurants with three Michelin stars bear an armada of fine Nordic cuisiniers sailing in their wake, waiting to be discovered. Architecture and design have always starred in Sweden, and several globally admired fashion brands have recently added more assets to the city’s charm.

But in the end, it’s not the statistics or rankings. It’s the people who generate the feel of the turf. In Stockholm, we spoke to gifted personalities who have shaped the city’s atmosphere. An architect who has switched to installation art, a designer flirting with the music business, two brothers who run one of Scandinavia’s most respected cultural institutions... Our interviews and editorial recommendations are complemented by photographic showcases, in-depth features, and fictional stories from global and local talents. It’s all about original minds and the creative vibe.

An artistic island, Nordic cuisine with a Korean twist, a hidden bar, city centre beaches, clubbing in a concert hall, art in a communal laundry room... Get lost in the elegant waterways of Stockholm.
